At the end of 2019, Steelasophical was awarded its 6th entertainment industry award. Crowned Best Caribbean Music Entertainment Company UK by Lux Life Magazine. Steelasophical is also known for a winning TV perfornance on Come Dine With Me, Music track used in the James Bond 007 movie casino Royale, and music albums selling would wide in over 42 countries.

With options of Solo, Duo, Trio and Fouro. Traditional acoustic for background music, meet and greet or performing along to quality backing trax through pro PA system for audiences up to 1000 people. The music repertoire is much more vast than any standard band. More than 300 core songs in over 14 genres. Steelasophical gets invited to perform at a host of venues and occasions that traditionally a normal steelband or steel drummer would not be considered.

About Steel Pans About Steel Pans brought to you by Steelasophical and online recourses Steelpans  (also known as steel drums or pans, and sometimes, collectively with other musicians, as a steel band or orchestra) is a musical instrument originating from Trinidad and Tobago. Steel pan musicians are called pannists. The modern pan is a chromatically pitched percussion instrument made from 55 gallon industrial drums that formerly contained chemicals. Drum refers to the steel drum containers from which the pans are made; the steel drum is more correctly called a steel pan or pan as it falls into the idiophone family of instruments, and so is not a drum (which is a membranophone).
